Churros with hot chocolate Preparation

To prepare the churros:

In a pot, boil the water with the salt and one tablespoon of olive oil. When it boils add the flour and stir vigorously over low heat until mixture forms a thin ball. Wait until it cools down and spoon the dough into a piping bag with a star nozzle. Squeeze about 10 centimeters of dough directly into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crisp. Sprinkle with sugar and serve while they’re still hot.

To prepare the chocolate for dipping:

Heat the milk and chunks of chocolate in a pot, stir constantly until it boils, and remove from heat. Once the mixture stops bubbling heat it up again until it boils, this way the final result will be thicker and richer. Cook on low heat until the chocolate has fully melted and getting a smooth and light mix. 

Pour into cups, serve with the churros and enjoy!

    500g of all-purpose flour

    500ml of water
    1 teaspoon of salt
    50ml of extra virgin olive oil Picual and Arbequina Plaza del Sol 
    Hot chocolate:
    400g chocolate
    1 l of milk
