Chickpea stew
Preparation
In a pot add a large spoonful of olive oil add the onions, the carrot, garlic and a sprig of parsley fry for about 10 minutes so as to mix well all the flavors then add the tomatoes and a bay leaf.
Add a large spoonful of paprika and the drained chick peas stirring with a wooden spoon for some minutes.
Cover with cold water until the pot is almost full.
When it reaches its boiling point reduce to a low heat so not to break the chickpeas, then add the chorizo and bacon. Allow to cook to a low heat for 20 minutes stirring occasionally with the wooden spoon. If it necessary add salt to taste.
Serves 6 1 jar of chickpeas
